Left handed pick off moves I feel are more effective the right hand pick off moves. This is because when a left handed pitcher is about to pitch he can look straight at first base, instead of looking behind his back if he was right handed. I feel that Andy Pettite has the best pick off move in the game.
Lefty's have such an advantage on the mound. The pick off move is essential to a pitcher to keep the runner honest. Like dan said and I agree that Pettite does have one the best pickoff moves in the game. The lefty pickoff move is so hidden until the last minute which makes it so effective.
