Throw back

Since nothing new is really going on with the team, other then practice every day. There is nothing really new to post on the 2008 Sacred Heart University Pioneers. But to mix it up a little bit I figured I might reminisce a little bit.

Yesterday at the men's basketball game I saw an old coach from my freshman year. He was the pitching coach for baseball team during the 2004-2005 season which was the first year our team had made the Northeast Conference Tournament. It was a very successful season for the Pioneers and allowed us to gain the confidence to enter the tournament the following year and win it. But now that pitching coach that got us to our first tournament headed down to Monmouth University the next year to fill the pitching coach job for their baseball team. He did more for the team then he would say he did. He gave a young pitching staff the confidence they needed to win the next year, and head down to Georgia for the NCAA Regional Tournament.

For times sake I'll stop there and talk about Georgia and the NCAA Tournament another time.
